Photography

I got my first SLR camera just before our daughter was born, and as I became enamored with that device, I started, finally, to learn what my artist father had been saying all my life about looking and seeing. I have kept my interest in photography because it requires me to succeed at a different discipline than my other ventures. In technology and music, and to a lesser extent, management, I decide what will be and fabricate my design within the limitations of those environments. With photography, I must first see what is before me, then work with light and whatever camera I have at that moment to figure out how to show others what I have seen.
